Quadro-Stromverteiler

Der Quadro Stromverteiler versorgt die BL-Regler mit Strom und verbindet den I2C-Bus für die Kommunikation.
Es können die BL-Ctrl1.2 oder BL-Ctrl2.0 eingebaut werden. Die Montage ist identisch.
Die BL-Regler werden in die Aussparungen der Verteilerplatine montiert und über Drahtbrücken angeschlossen.
/!\ Die Oberseite der Verteilerplatine ist mit "+" gekennzeichnet.

Anordnung der BL-Regler

Die BL-Regler werden wie hier dargestellt in der Verteilerplatine angeordnet (im Uhrzeigersinn BL-Ctrl Nr. 1-3-2-4).
Die Prozessoren und damit auch die Lötanschlüsse für die Motorzuleitungen an den Fet's müssen bei allen Reglern nach oben zeigen.

Molex-Stecker bestücken

Hierfür sollte man eine feine Lötspitze verwenden. Als erstes setzt man einen Lötpunkt auf dem Stromverteiler und lötet dann die Molexbuchse hieran fest. Ist diese ausgerichtet können die restlichen Kontakte verlötet werden.

/!\ Die Kontakte dürfen keine Verbindung untereinander haben!

  • Über die Molexbuchse wird die FlightCtrl mit Spannungsversorgung, I2C-Bus und Summer verbunden.

{i} Tipp: Überschüssiges Lot kann perfekt mit Endlötlitzen entfernt werden. Sollte die Buchse einmal schief montiert worden sein, kann die Platine vorsichtig von der Unterseite mit einem Heißluftföhn erwärmt werden und die Buchse wieder gelöst werden.

Brücken für I2C bestücken

8 Brücken müssen auf dem Verteiler gesetzt werden. Sie bestehen aus Silberdraht.

Auf Kurzschluss prüfen

Die Brücken dürfen keinen Kontakt gegeneinander oder gegen Plus oder Minus haben.
Mit einem Multimeter messen: Alle Punkte müssen zueinander hochohmig sein - größer als 100kOhm bzw. das Messgerät zeigt nichts an. (Die BL-Regler sind noch nicht eingelötet)

/!\ Ist der Stromverteiler komplett incl. Bl-Ctrl verlötet, sollte die gleiche Messung noch einmal erfolgen! Auch hier darf dann kein Kurzschluss vorhanden sein.

Elkos einlöten

Die BL-Ctrls werden mit den Beinen der Elkos angeschlossen. Die Elkos werden auf der Oberseite bestückt.
Die Beinchen werden gebogen wie auf den Bildern gezeigt.

/!\ MINUS (Auf den Elkos dick markiert) muss an die Außenseite jedes BL-Reglers - Nicht vertauschen!
/!\ Man benötigt viel Hitze, um die Drähte gut an die Verteilerplatine anzulöten, weil diese die Wärme stark abführt. Eine schlechte Lötstelle hier kann alle BL-Regler zerstören!

Über diese Lötstellen geht viel Strom, deshalb muss man diese Verbindung von beiden Seiten des Verteilers löten

Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen BL-Reglern verfügt sie über einen schnellen Datenbus zur FC (I2C) und setzt die Motorsollwerte spontan um.
Herkömmliche BL-Regler können nicht verwendet werden. Den BL-Reglern werden über Lötjumper Adressen zugeordnet.

Versorgung und Summer

Lipo-Kabel anschließen

An dem großem "+" und "-" Pad wir die Anschlussleitung für den Lipo angelötet. Mit einem Kabelbinder kann die Leitung an dem Stromverteiler fixiert werden.

Summer anschließen

/!\ Der Summer wird über ein Kabel abgesetzt und z.B. am Ende eines Auslegers angebracht. Wird der Summer dichter, oder aber auf der FlightCtrl montiert, wird bei Nutzung vom Kompass (MK3Mag) dessen Funktion gestört!

Beleuchtung

Schließt man einen Lipo mit z.B. 3S(11,1V) oder 4S(14,8V) an, kann die Beleuchtung (LED) direkt an einen beliebigen "+" und "-" Pad angelötet werden.

Beleuchtung mit Spannungsregler

Möchte man einen größeren Lipo mit z.B. 5S(18,5V) oder 6S(22,2V) anschließen, sollte für die Beleuchtung ein Spannungsregler eingelötet werden.
Dieser muss polrichtig an OUT/GND/IN gelötet werden.

For this purpose you should use a fine tip. The first one is a solder pad on the distribution board and solder then Molexbuchse fixed thereto. This is to cater to the remaining contacts are soldered.

/!\ The contacts may have no connection with each other!

  • The FlightCtrl is connected over the Molex socket with power, I2C-bus and the Buzzer.

{i} Tip: Excess solder can be removed perfectly with solder wick. If the mounting of the Molex socket fails, the PCB can be gently heated from the bottom with a heat gun and the socket be released.

The BL-Ctrls are connected via the wires of the Elko (capacitors). The Elkos are assembled from the top of teh distribution board.
The Elko-wires are to be bent over and put (and soldered) through the + and - solder-pads of the BL-Ctrls.
Solder these pads from both sides of the distributor!

This must be soldered in the correct polarity to OUT/GND/IN.

Quadro-Stromverteiler

Der Quadro Stromverteiler versorgt die BL-Regler mit Strom und verbindet den I2C-Bus für die Kommunikation.
Es können die BL-Ctrl1.2 oder BL-Ctrl2.0 eingebaut werden. Die Montage ist identisch.
Die BL-Regler werden in die Aussparungen der Verteilerplatine montiert und über Drahtbrücken angeschlossen.
/!\ Die Oberseite der Verteilerplatine ist mit "+" gekennzeichnet.

Anordnung der BL-Regler

Die BL-Regler werden wie hier dargestellt in der Verteilerplatine angeordnet (im Uhrzeigersinn BL-Ctrl Nr. 1-3-2-4).
Die Prozessoren und damit auch die Lötanschlüsse für die Motorzuleitungen an den Fet's müssen bei allen Reglern nach oben zeigen.

Molex-Stecker bestücken

Hierfür sollte man eine feine Lötspitze verwenden. Als erstes setzt man einen Lötpunkt auf dem Stromverteiler und lötet dann die Molexbuchse hieran fest. Ist diese ausgerichtet können die restlichen Kontakte verlötet werden.

/!\ Die Kontakte dürfen keine Verbindung untereinander haben!

  • Über die Molexbuchse wird die FlightCtrl mit Spannungsversorgung, I2C-Bus und Summer verbunden.

{i} Tipp: Überschüssiges Lot kann perfekt mit Endlötlitzen entfernt werden. Sollte die Buchse einmal schief montiert worden sein, kann die Platine vorsichtig von der Unterseite mit einem Heißluftföhn erwärmt werden und die Buchse wieder gelöst werden.

Auf Kurzschluss prüfen

Die Brücken dürfen keinen Kontakt gegeneinander oder gegen Plus oder Minus haben.
Mit einem Multimeter messen: Alle Punkte müssen zueinander hochohmig sein - größer als 100kOhm bzw. das Messgerät zeigt nichts an. (Die BL-Regler sind noch nicht eingelötet)

/!\ Ist der Stromverteiler komplett incl. Bl-Ctrl verlötet, sollte die gleiche Messung noch einmal erfolgen! Auch hier darf dann kein Kurzschluss vorhanden sein.

Elkos einlöten

Die BL-Ctrls werden mit den Beinen der Elkos angeschlossen. Die Elkos werden auf der Oberseite bestückt.
Die Beinchen werden gebogen wie auf den Bildern gezeigt.

/!\ MINUS (Auf den Elkos dick markiert) muss an die Außenseite jedes BL-Reglers - Nicht vertauschen!
/!\ Man benötigt viel Hitze, um die Drähte gut an die Verteilerplatine anzulöten, weil diese die Wärme stark abführt. Eine schlechte Lötstelle hier kann alle BL-Regler zerstören!

Über diese Lötstellen geht viel Strom, deshalb muss man diese Verbindung von beiden Seiten des Verteilers löten

Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen BL-Reglern verfügt sie über einen schnellen Datenbus zur FC (I2C) und setzt die Motorsollwerte spontan um.
Herkömmliche BL-Regler können nicht verwendet werden. Den BL-Reglern werden über Lötjumper Adressen zugeordnet.

{i} Tip: Excess solder can be removed perfectly with solder wick. If the mounting of the Molex socket fails, the PCB can be gently heated from the bottom with a heat gun and the socket be released.

Solder Elkos

The BL-Ctrls are connected via the wires of the Elko (capacitors). The Elkos are assembled from the top of teh distribution board.
The Elko-wires are to be bent over and put (and soldered) through the + and - solder-pads of the BL-Ctrls.
Solder these pads from both sides of the distributor!

Assembly of the bridges

The bridges may not have contact against each other or against plus or minus.
Measure with a multimeter: against each other and against plus and minus it must have high resistance.

/!\ If the current distribution completely soldered incl. Bl-Ctrl, you should make the same measurement again! Be sure that no short circuit exist.

Solder Elkos

The BL-Ctrls are connected via the wires of the Elko (capacitors). The Elkos are assembled from the top of teh distribution board.
The Elko-wires are to be bent over and put (and soldered) through the + and - solder-pads of the BL-Ctrls.
Solder these pads from both sides of the distributor!

/!\ MINUS (marked on each Elko) goes to the outer sides - do not mix plus and minus here!
/!\ a lot of heat has to be used on the distribution board to make a perfect connection

Unlike conventional BL controllers, it has a fast data bus to the FC (I2C) and sets the motor target values spontaneously.
Conventional BL controllers can't be used. The addresses of the BL controllers needs be set via jumpers.


/!\ Each motor requires a unique address. A Quadrokopter requires the addresses 1-4, a HexaKopter the addresses 1-6 and the Oktokopter the addresses 1-8.

Supply and Buzzer

Connect the batterie cable

On the large "+" and "-" solder pads connect the cable for the Lipo. With a cable tie the cable can be fixed to the power distributor.

  • plus = red
  • minus = black

Lighting

By connecting with an Lipo e.g. 3S (11,1 V) or 4S (14,8 V), can the lighting (LED) directly to any "+" and "-" pad to be soldered.

Lighting with Voltage Regulator

If you want to use a larger Lipo e.g. 5S (18.5V) or 6S (22.2 V), you should be soldered for lighting a voltage regulator.
This must be soldered in the correct polarity to OUT/GND/IN.

/!\ When using a voltage regulator is the positive wire for the illumination of the solder pad marked with a red arrow!
